Foundations of artificial intelligence, past, present, and future. Core concepts in machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision. Real-world applications across automotive, mobility, and manufacturing. AI ethics and responsible innovation. Career pathways in AI and tech, including opportunities at companies like GM.
You Won't Just Learn AI. You'll Build With It.
On Saturday you'll design an AI project around something you actually care about: your school, your neighborhood, a problem you'd fix tomorrow if you had the tools. On Sunday you'll present it. That's the whole fellowship: three days from your first real question about AI to something you built and showed to the room.
What You'll Earn
An IBM SkillsBuild Digital Credential in AI Fundamentals. A $300 stipend upon successful completion. Hands-on experience to jumpstart your future in tech.
Who It's For
High school girls and gender-expansive youth ages 13-18, 9th through 12th grade, living anywhere in Michigan. No prior AI experience is required, just curiosity, commitment, and a willingness to learn.
Only 40 Fellows Will Be Selected
This fall, 40 students will be selected to join the cohort. Applications are reviewed as they come in.
